To achieve OEKO-TEX® STeP certification, a facility must meet rigorous criteria across six key modules:

  1. Chemical Management: Safe and responsible use of chemicals in production.
  2. Environmental Performance: Minimisation of environmental impact through efficient resource usage and waste management.
  3. Environmental Management: Implementation of effective environmental management systems.
  4. Social Responsibility: Compliance with social standards, fair labor practices, and worker welfare.
  5. Quality Management: Consistent quality control and improvement processes.
  6. Health & Safety: Ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.

The STeP certificate is granted following a successful audit of a production facility and remains valid for three years.
