OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN Requirements

To obtain the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label, products must:

  • Be tested for harmful substances and certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, ORGANIC COTTON or LEATHER STANDARD 
  • Be manufactured in OEKO-TEX® STeP certified facilities. All manufacturers of ready-made products must be STeP certified. Single components that equal or exceed 5% of the total weight of the product must be supplied by STeP certified production facilities. 
  • The owner of the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label and their supply chain must actively use the MyOEKO-TEX® platform and MADE IN GREEN dashboard.
